sobre el Esequibo, un territorio de casi 160.000 kil\u00f3metros cuadrados en disputa con Guyana, informaron este lunes las autoridades electorales, una cifra de participaci\u00f3n que contrasta con el panorama observado durante la jornada de ayer, con poca afluencia de electores.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abComunicamos al pueblo de Venezuela que tuvimos una participaci\u00f3n important\u00edsima de 10.431.907 venezolanos que participaron en este refer\u00e9ndum consultivo\u00bb, dijo el presidente del Consejo Nacional Electoral (CNE), Elvis Amoroso, en un acto junto con el mandatario Nicol\u00e1s Maduro.<\/p>\n<p>En este sentido, Amoroso asegur\u00f3 que se trat\u00f3 de una \u00abparticipaci\u00f3n sin precedentes\u00bb, con la que el pueblo venezolano expres\u00f3 su \u00abvoluntad absoluta\u00bb en la defensa de esta zona disputada, rica en recursos naturales.<\/p>\n<p>El CNE aprob\u00f3 por unanimidad entregar hoy el acta con la que \u00abse concluye esta gran jornada\u00bb al presidente de la Asamblea Nacional (AN, Parlamento), el oficialista Jorge Rodr\u00edguez, quien present\u00f3 en septiembre una solicitud al ente comicial para convocar al referendo, tras ser aprobado por el Legislativo, controlado por el chavismo.<\/p>\n<p>Amoroso tambi\u00e9n entreg\u00f3 al mandatario Nicol\u00e1s Maduro los \u00abresultados de este refer\u00e9ndum consultivo que reconoce, sin lugar a dudas, la expresi\u00f3n del pueblo soberano\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>La mayor\u00eda de los ciudadanos que participaron respondieron \u00abs\u00ed\u00bb a las cinco preguntas, entre ellas a la quinta y \u00faltima, que consultaba a los votantes si estaban o no de acuerdo con anexionar al mapa nacional el territorio, crear all\u00ed una regi\u00f3n llamada Guayana Esequiba y poner en marcha un \u00abplan acelerado\u00bb para atender a su poblaci\u00f3n, con concesi\u00f3n de ciudadan\u00eda y el documento de identidad.<\/p>\n<p><strong>EFE<\/strong><\/p>\n<div
