El \u00faltimo fue Ram\u00f3n Alberto Salas, quien muri\u00f3 en el Centro Penitenciario de la Regi\u00f3n Andina (CPRA), a finales del mes.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo a una publicaci\u00f3n en X, Ram\u00f3n Salas falleci\u00f3 debido a una falla multiorg\u00e1nica generada por \u201cla falta de atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica\u201d en la c\u00e1rcel.\u00a0 Seg\u00fan la organizaci\u00f3n, es el segundo recluso que fallece en este centro penitenciario en lo que va de 2026.<\/p>\n<p>El\u00a0 Observatorio Venezolano de Prisiones registr\u00f3 10 fallecidos en centros penitenciarios durante el mes y se\u00f1al\u00f3 que la mayor\u00eda ha sido por la \u201cdesatenci\u00f3n en materia de salud que hemos denunciado con preocupaci\u00f3n\u201d. En la publicaci\u00f3n realizada en la red social X, no precis\u00f3 la identidad de las otras personas que murieron ni el centro de detenci\u00f3n donde estaban recluidos.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo indic\u00f3 que el 23 de junio document\u00f3 la muerte de Jos\u00e9 Gregorio Mendoza Guzm\u00e1n, a causa de una hipoxia severa.
