m\u00e1s de un mill\u00f3n de vacunas contra la difteria y el t\u00e9tanos al Ministerio de Salud de Venezuela, como parte de los mecanismos de cooperaci\u00f3n sanitaria entre ambas instituciones.<\/p>\n<p>El organismo inform\u00f3 que las dosis estar\u00e1n destinadas a proteger a\u00a0<strong>ni\u00f1os, ni\u00f1as, gestantes, adolescentes y adultos<\/strong>, con el objetivo de contribuir al fortalecimiento de la cobertura de inmunizaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Gracias al trabajo en conjunto entre el Ministerio del Poder Popular para la Salud y Unicef, estas vacunas contra la difteria y el t\u00e9tanos estar\u00e1n destinadas a proteger a ni\u00f1os, ni\u00f1as, gestantes, adolescentes y adultos\u201d, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Unicef en un video difundido en redes sociales.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>La organizaci\u00f3n destac\u00f3 que la administraci\u00f3n de cada dosis contribuye a fortalecer la protecci\u00f3n sanitaria de las comunidades y a prevenir enfermedades inmunoprevenibles.<\/p>\n<h4>Revisan cooperaci\u00f3n sanitaria<\/h4>\n<p>La entrega de vacunas se conoci\u00f3 luego de una reuni\u00f3n entre representantes de Unicef y funcionarios del Ministerio de Salud, en la que fueron evaluadas distintas l\u00edneas de cooperaci\u00f3n para fortalecer la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria en Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>El encuentro estuvo encabezado por la viceministra de Redes de Salud Colectiva, Magda Magris, quien destac\u00f3 la importancia de mantener la coordinaci\u00f3n con organismos internacionales para mejorar la respuesta del sistema p\u00fablico de salud.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la reuni\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n fueron revisados los avances en las\u00a0<strong>coberturas de inmunizaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, los programas de nutrici\u00f3n comunitaria y el abastecimiento de insumos estrat\u00e9gicos destinados a la red de atenci\u00f3n primaria.<\/p>\n<p>El Ministerio de Salud se\u00f1al\u00f3 que Unicef y la Organizaci\u00f3n Panamericana de la Salud (OPS) tambi\u00e9n proporcionaron insumos durante la contingencia registrada en el pa\u00eds tras los eventos del pasado 24 de junio.<\/p>\n<p>Magris afirm\u00f3 que la cooperaci\u00f3n permitir\u00e1 consolidar una agenda conjunta orientada a fortalecer la capacidad de respuesta en las comunidades y garantizar una atenci\u00f3n preventiva para ni\u00f1os y ni\u00f1as.<\/p>\n<p>La funcionaria tambi\u00e9n resalt\u00f3 el trabajo de los equipos multidisciplinarios desplegados en las distintas regiones sanitarias, especialmente en materia de vigilancia epidemiol\u00f3gica y acompa\u00f1amiento a familias en zonas vulnerables.<\/p>\n<p>El Ministerio de Salud asegur\u00f3 que mantiene la capacitaci\u00f3n de su personal y los mecanismos de cooperaci\u00f3n internacional para contribuir al fortalecimiento de la atenci\u00f3n sanitaria y la prevenci\u00f3n de enfermedades en Venezuela.<\/p>\n<div class=\"pvc_clear\"><\/div>\n<p
