tras los sismos registrados en La Guaira, debido principalmente a la p\u00e9rdida de fuentes de ingresos en las zonas m\u00e1s perjudicadas, inform\u00f3 Luis Francisco Cabezas, director general de la asociaci\u00f3n Convite.<\/p>\n<p>Cabezas detall\u00f3 que la cifra estar\u00eda compuesta por aproximadamente\u00a0<strong>41.300 mujeres mayores y 32.000 hombres<\/strong>, de acuerdo con datos de la Oficina de Naciones Unidas para la Coordinaci\u00f3n de Asuntos Humanitarios (OCHA).<\/p>\n<p>El representante de Convite se\u00f1al\u00f3 que los adultos mayores afectados representan una parte importante de la poblaci\u00f3n que ha requerido atenci\u00f3n tras la emergencia, en un contexto en el que se estima que unas\u00a0<strong>700.000 personas resultaron afectadas en general<\/strong>\u00a0por los terremotos.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, advirti\u00f3 que esta situaci\u00f3n se suma a las dificultades que ya enfrentaban m\u00e1s de\u00a0<strong>5 millones de adultos mayores<\/strong>\u00a0antes de los sismos.<\/p>\n<p>Ante este escenario, Cabezas consider\u00f3 necesario realizar un\u00a0<strong>censo para determinar cu\u00e1ntas personas mayores perdieron negocios o locales comerciales<\/strong>\u00a0como consecuencia de la emergencia.<\/p>\n<p>El director de Convite propuso adem\u00e1s implementar mecanismos de apoyo econ\u00f3mico, como\u00a0<strong>microemprendimientos, microcr\u00e9ditos, capital semilla y recuperaci\u00f3n de los insumos perdidos<\/strong>, con el objetivo de contribuir a la reactivaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica
