{"id":37070,"date":"2026-04-15T06:32:12","date_gmt":"2026-04-15T11:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/esviafm.com\/?p=37070"},"modified":"2026-04-15T06:32:12","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T11:02:12","slug":"ee-uu-niega-haber-sustituido-a-la-diplomatica-al-frente-de-su-embajada-en-venezuela","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/esviafm.com\/index.php\/ee-uu-niega-haber-sustituido-a-la-diplomatica-al-frente-de-su-embajada-en-venezuela\/","title":{"rendered":"EE.UU. niega haber sustituido a la diplom\u00e1tica al frente de su embajada en Venezuela"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El Gobierno de Estados Unidos confirm\u00f3 este martes a EFE que Laura Dogu sigue siendo la encargada de negocios al frente de su embajada en Venezuela, negando as\u00ed las informaciones que apuntaban a que hab\u00eda sido sustituida por otro diplom\u00e1tico al frente de la legaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa embajadora Dogu contin\u00faa siendo la encargada de negocio interina de la Embajada de los Estados Unidos en Caracas y prosigue su labor para impulsar el plan de tres fases de la Administraci\u00f3n (del presidente Donald) Trump para una Venezuela estable, pr\u00f3spera y democr\u00e1tica\u00bb, explic\u00f3 un portavoz del Departamento de Estado.<\/p>\n<p>La afirmaci\u00f3n llega despu\u00e9s de que varios medios de Guatemala aseguraran que el actual encargado de negocio en el pa\u00eds centroamericano, John Barrett, ser\u00eda el encargado de sustituir a Dogu al frente de la representaci\u00f3n diplom\u00e1tica estadounidense en Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>Dogu fue nombrada encargada de negocio para Venezuela a final de enero, tres semanas despu\u00e9s de la captura de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro y dos meses antes de que Washington anunciara la reapertura de su embajada en Caracas, cerrada desde la ruptura de lazos diplom\u00e1ticos en 2019.<\/p>\n<p>A su vez, Barret fue nombrado encargado de negocio en la embajada del pa\u00eds norteamericano en Ciudad de Guatemala un d\u00eda despu\u00e9s, el pasado 23 de enero.<\/p>\n<p>Tras el derrocamiento de Maduro a manos de Washington, el Gobierno de Donald Trump ha asegurado que tutela el Gobierno de la presidenta interina de Venezuela, Delcy Rodr\u00edguez, para que el pa\u00eds caribe\u00f1o pase por tres fases consecutivas: estabilizaci\u00f3n, recuperaci\u00f3n y transici\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p>Estados Unidos y Venezuela rompieron relaciones en 2019, cuando el Gobierno de Trump, en su primer mandato, reconoci\u00f3 al opositor Juan Guaid\u00f3, entonces presidente de la Asamblea Nacional, como presidente encargado del pa\u00eds.
