Santander hab\u00eda firmado un contrato de cinco a\u00f1os por 92,5 millones de d\u00f3lares con Toronto, pero su debut se vio afectado por m\u00faltiples lesiones, participando \u00fanicamente en 54 juegos durante la campa\u00f1a anterior.<\/p>\n<p>Tuvo un contratiempo a principios de enero al intensificar su bateo.
