El sismo, ocurrido a las 12:54 p.m. con una profundidad superficial de 5.7 kil\u00f3metros, se sinti\u00f3 con mayor intensidad en la Gran Caracas y otras zonas del pa\u00eds, seg\u00fan m\u00faltiples testimonios en redes sociales.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>El epicentro tambi\u00e9n se localiz\u00f3 a 61 kil\u00f3metros al este de Calabozo, en una zona predominantemente rural. Aunque no se reportan da\u00f1os materiales ni heridos de momento, el evento gener\u00f3 alarma inmediata entre los capitalinos. \u00abTemblor fuerte en San Bernardino, justo a las 12:54 p.m.\u00bb, tuite\u00f3 un usuario en X, mientras que otro desde Guarenas alert\u00f3: \u00abSe sinti\u00f3 con todo aqu\u00ed, \u00a1qu\u00e9 susto!\u00bb. La vicepresidenta Delcy Rodr\u00edguez confirm\u00f3 el 26 de septiembre la presencia de un \u00abenjambre s\u00edsmico\u00bb que incluy\u00f3 10 eventos principales y 21 r\u00e9plicas, con magnitudes entre 4.0 y 6.3, lo que impuls\u00f3 al Gobierno a activar el Simulacro Nacional de Protecci\u00f3n Civil. Este ejercicio busca capacitar a la poblaci\u00f3n ante desastres naturales y escenarios de \u00abposibles conflictos armados\u00bb.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>M\u00e1s recientemente, el 6 de octubre, Funvisis registr\u00f3 hasta cinco sismos de baja intensidad durante la madrugada, manteniendo en alerta a las autoridades y al sistema de monitoreo.
