la existencia de nuevas formas de colonialismo que amenazan la soberan\u00eda de los pueblos de la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Durante su intervenci\u00f3n en la Conferencia Internacional de \u201cColonialismo, Neoliberalismo y los Despojos Territoriales del Imperialismo Occidental\u201d, el ministro de Relaciones Exteriores destac\u00f3 que \u201cel Caribe est\u00e1 siendo nuevamente amenazado por acciones neocolonialistas que buscan imponer esquemas de dominaci\u00f3n y despojo territorial\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, manifest\u00f3 que la regi\u00f3n enfrenta problemas que requieren la uni\u00f3n de las fuerzas liberales y revolucionarias. \u201cNos enfrentamos a un panorama complejo que exige la unidad de todas las fuerzas progresistas, revolucionarias y soberanas para vencer definitivamente las huellas del imperialismo\u201d, afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><iframe id=\"instagram-embed-0\" class=\"instagram-media instagram-media-rendered\" contexto de la liberaci\u00f3n de los pueblos salud\u00f3 al pueblo puertorrique\u00f1o en su lucha independentista y reafirm\u00f3 la posici\u00f3n de Venezuela al respecto. \u201cPuerto Rico independiente, Puerto Rico soberano, tarde o temprano consolidar\u00e1 su camino hacia la libertad y dejar\u00e1 de ser una colonia\u201d, asever\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se pronunci\u00f3 sobre la disputa por las Islas Malvinas, expresando: \u00abLamentablemente, hoy vemos un gobierno que se arrodilla ante el poder colonial y entrega lo que tanto luch\u00f3 por defender y recuperar en nombre de la independencia nacional\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Gil concluy\u00f3 su discurso recordando al Libertador Sim\u00f3n Bol\u00edvar en su lucha por la independencia. \u201cBol\u00edvar nos ense\u00f1\u00f3 que la \u00fanica alternativa para nuestros pueblos es la independencia, la soberan\u00eda y la construcci\u00f3n de una identidad cultural propia como v\u00eda para liberarnos de la presi\u00f3n
