Se desconoce hasta ahora cu\u00e1ntas personas iban a bordo del veh\u00edculo, aunque personas que pudieron ver el suceso afirman que pueden ser dos.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan la prensa regional, que cita a testigos que pudieron ver el hecho, el auto es un Chevrolet modelo Caprice, cuyo conductor perdi\u00f3 el control cuando circulaba a la altura de la pila 25, en sentido Maracaibo-Costa Oriental.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan fuentes oficiales, el veh\u00edculo rompi\u00f3 100 metros de barandas y cay\u00f3 al lago, para luego hundirse r\u00e1pidamente.<\/p>\n<p>De inmediato, se activaron funcionarios de rescate y seguridad para tratar de iniciar las acciones de b\u00fasqueda de las posibles v\u00edctimas.<\/p>\n<p>La Guardia Costera patrulla la zona, en b\u00fasqueda de pistas.<\/p>\n<p>El puente sobre el lago de Maracaibo tiene una longitud de 8.678 metros y 134 pilas.
