agradecer el apoyo constante de las<strong>\u00a0fuerzas pol\u00edticas europeas<\/strong>\u00a0a la lucha por la restauraci\u00f3n de la democracia en Venezuela y discutir la situaci\u00f3n pol\u00edtica del pa\u00eds, en un contexto de creciente tensi\u00f3n entre el gobierno de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro y la oposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Durante su encuentro con la portavoz del PP en la Euroc\u00e1mara,<strong>\u00a0Dolors Montserrat<\/strong>, y el eurodiputado Antonio L\u00f3pez-Ist\u00fariz, Gonz\u00e1lez Urrutia expres\u00f3 su agradecimiento por la solidaridad de los diputados europeos y reafirm\u00f3 su compromiso con el proceso de transici\u00f3n pol\u00edtica en Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cVenimos a dar las gracias por la solidaridad de todas las fracciones del Parlamento Europeo que\u00a0<strong>han estado acompa\u00f1ando a la democracia venezolana<\/strong>, para restaurar la democracia y la legalidad democr\u00e1tica en mi pa\u00eds\u201d, destac\u00f3 el as\u00ed como las implicaciones de la situaci\u00f3n en Venezuela para la regi\u00f3n. Gonz\u00e1lez Urrutia aprovech\u00f3 la oportunidad para reiterar su intenci\u00f3n de\u00a0<strong>regresar a su pa\u00eds el pr\u00f3ximo 10 de enero<\/strong>, cuando, seg\u00fan sus declaraciones, tomar\u00e1 posesi\u00f3n como presidente electo de Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abSi las expectativas se cumplen, el pr\u00f3ximo 10 de enero estaremos tomando posesi\u00f3n del\u00a0<strong>nuevo Gobierno en Venezuela<\/strong>, que va a restaurar la democracia venezolana\u00bb, subray\u00f3 el que fuera candidato de la Plataforma Unitaria Democr\u00e1tica (PUD). Gonz\u00e1lez Urrutia, quien es uno de los rostros m\u00e1s destacados de la oposici\u00f3n venezolana, recibi\u00f3 el apoyo de varios sectores internacionales, incluidos miembros de la Euroc\u00e1mara, y se prepara para recibir el prestigioso Premio S\u00e1jarov a la Libertad de Conciencia, que se le entregar\u00e1 en diciembre de este a\u00f1o\u00a0<strong>junto a Mar\u00eda Corina Machado<\/strong>, su compatriota y tambi\u00e9n l\u00edder de la oposici\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En paralelo a su visita, la excandidata presidencial colombiana<strong>\u00a0Ingrid Betancourt<\/strong>, expres\u00f3 su apoyo a Gonz\u00e1lez Urrutia.\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.elimpulso.com\/2024\/11\/12\/ingrid-betancourt-anuncio-que-viajara-a-caracas-para-acompanar-la-toma-de-posesion-de-edmundo-gonzalez-12nov\/\">Betancourt anunci\u00f3 en su perfil<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0de la red social X que viajar\u00e1 a Caracas para acompa\u00f1ar la toma de posesi\u00f3n de Gonz\u00e1lez Urrutia como presidente electo de Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEn enero,\u00a0<strong>tenemos cita en Caracas<\/strong>\u00a0para acompa\u00f1ar a Mar\u00eda Corina Machado y aplaudir la posesi\u00f3n de Edmundo Gonz\u00e1lez como presidente de Venezuela\u201d,
