(Consorven)\u00a0<\/strong>alert\u00f3 este jueves sobre una \u00abbrecha\u00bb en el acceso a la informaci\u00f3n para las \u00ab<strong>personas con discapacidad<\/strong>\u00ab, pues -afirm\u00f3- los canales de televisi\u00f3n y redes sociales \u00ab<strong>no est\u00e1n cumpliendo<\/strong>\u00bb con las normativas para garantizar este derecho.<\/p>\n<p>A trav\u00e9s de una nota de prensa, el presidente de\u00a0<strong>Consorven<\/strong>, Juan \u00c1ngel De Gouveia, dijo se \u00abevidenci\u00f3 una alarmante falta de accesibilidad en la presentaci\u00f3n de las noticias e informaciones oficiales\u00bb, seg\u00fan un monitoreo de la organizaci\u00f3n \u00ab<strong>a tres canales de televisi\u00f3n abierta y redes sociales de voceros y entes oficiales<\/strong>\u00ab, durante los tres primeros d\u00edas del pasado agosto.<\/p>\n<p>Entre los principales hallazgos del monitoreo, seg\u00fan De Gouveia, est\u00e1 la \u00ab<strong>ausencia de interpretaci\u00f3n en lengua de se\u00f1as<\/strong>\u00ab, as\u00ed como la escasa \u00abutilizaci\u00f3n de recursos visuales\u00bb y \u00ab<strong>lenguaje sencillo y descriptivo<\/strong>\u00ab.<\/p>\n<p>Asimismo, manifest\u00f3 que, a pesar de que Venezuela cuenta con un marco legal para \u00abgarantizar los derechos de las personas con discapacidad\u00bb, es necesario \u00abfortalecer la implementaci\u00f3n de estas normas a trav\u00e9s de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas efectivas, inversi\u00f3n en recursos y una mayor sensibilizaci\u00f3n de la sociedad\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div class=\"google-auto-placed ap_container\"><ins su contenido sea accesible para todos y que nadie se quede atr\u00e1s\u00bb, expres\u00f3 el presidente de Consorven.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, hizo un llamado a los medios, al Estado y a la ciudadan\u00eda a trabajar de manera conjunta para \u00abconstruir una sociedad m\u00e1s inclusiva\u00bb, en la que \u00ab<strong>todas las personas tengan acceso a la informaci\u00f3n en igualdad de condiciones<\/strong>\u00ab.<\/p>\n<p>Afirm\u00f3 que la falta de acceso a la informaci\u00f3n \u00ab<strong>limita el derecho de las personas con discapacidad a participar plenamente en la vida social y pol\u00edtica del pa\u00eds<\/strong>\u00ab, adem\u00e1s de ponerlos en \u00abdesventaja\u00bb para \u00abtomar decisiones informadas, participar en la vida pol\u00edtica y social, y ejercer
