para Venezuela e Ir\u00e1n, inst\u00f3 al presidente Joe Biden a adoptar una postura m\u00e1s firme y coordinada con los pa\u00edses democr\u00e1ticos frente al r\u00e9gimen de Nicol\u00e1s Maduro, luego de que este inhabilitara a la l\u00edder opositora Mar\u00eda Corina Machado para participar en cualquier elecci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Seg\u00fan Abrams, la decisi\u00f3n de Maduro de impedir que Machado se postule evidencia que el chavismo no tiene intenci\u00f3n de permitir una transici\u00f3n democr\u00e1tica en Venezuela, sino que busca seguir el modelo de Nicaragua, donde Daniel Ortega ha encarcelado y descalificado a todos sus adversarios pol\u00edticos.<\/p>\n<p>El exdiplom\u00e1tico critic\u00f3 que las negociaciones entre el r\u00e9gimen y la oposici\u00f3n venezolana no han dado resultados concretos y que la administraci\u00f3n Biden ha debilitado las sanciones y el apoyo a las fuerzas democr\u00e1ticas que hered\u00f3 de su antecesor.<\/p>\n<p>Abrams propuso que se intensifiquen las medidas de presi\u00f3n contra el r\u00e9gimen, que se restaure la atenci\u00f3n diplom\u00e1tica a la crisis venezolana y que se deje claro que mientras Maduro siga en el poder, no
