Seg\u00fan el texto, hecho p\u00fablico en el sitio web de la Embajada china en Bak\u00fa, la parte azer\u00ed expres\u00f3 su deseo de unirse a los BRICS.<\/p>\n<p>Rusia asumi\u00f3 el pasado 1 de enero la presidencia rotatoria en el grupo para el 2024, a\u00f1o que empez\u00f3 con la admisi\u00f3n de nuevos miembros.<\/p>\n<p>El grupo BRICS, compuesto inicialmente por Brasil, Rusia, la India, China, Sud\u00e1frica, se extendi\u00f3 este a\u00f1o con la entrada de Arabia Saudita, Egipto, los Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos, Etiop\u00eda e Ir\u00e1n.<\/p>\n<p>Ahora el bloque representa a casi la mitad de la poblaci\u00f3n mundial, el 40% de la producci\u00f3n global de petr\u00f3leo y alrededor del 25% de la exportaci\u00f3n de bienes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>FUENTE: EL
