a\u00f1os, as\u00ed lo anunci\u00f3 en su cuenta de X, el que fuera su equipo los Gigantes de San Francisco.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u201cCon gran tristeza anunciamos que Willie Mays, leyenda de los Gigantes de San Francisco y miembro del Sal\u00f3n de la Fama, falleci\u00f3 pac\u00edficamente esta tarde a la edad de 93 a\u00f1os\u201c, dice la publicaci\u00f3n hecha en X de la cuenta oficial de Gigantes de San Francisco.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>Asimismo, cabe destacar, que pocos jugadores de las Grandes Ligas resultaron m\u00e1s ic\u00f3nicos que Willie Mays, quien incluso es parte del imaginario colectivo venezolano con la famosa frase de \u201cNo te hagas el Willie Mays\u201d.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>\u00cdcono en el beisbol estadounidense<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Mays, tambi\u00e9n conocido como \u201cSay Hey Kid\u201d, fue nombrado dos veces como Jugador M\u00e1s Valioso, gan\u00f3 24 veces el campeonato All Star, obtuvo 12 veces el Guante de Oro y tambi\u00e9n recibi\u00f3 la Medalla Presidencial de la Libertad.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tuvo una extensa carrera en la que gan\u00f3 un anillo de Serie Mundial, sum\u00f3 660 jonrones, 3 mil 293 hits y mil 909 carreras impulsadas.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Todos estos n\u00fameros hicieron que entrar\u00e1 en el Sal\u00f3n de la Fama como parte de
