de 2026 con la participaci\u00f3n de 16 equipos, seg\u00fan aprob\u00f3 este mi\u00e9rcoles el Consejo de la FIFA reunido en Bangkok.<\/p>\n<p>Todav\u00eda queda por determinar la sede de este nuevo torneo que se celebrar\u00e1 cada cuatro a\u00f1os, apunt\u00f3 en un comunicado el \u00f3rgano rector del f\u00fatbol Mundial sin apuntar m\u00e1s detalles.<\/p>\n<p>El principal \u00f3rgano de toma de decisiones de la FIFA ratific\u00f3 por \u00abunanimidad\u00bb, en una cita previa al Congreso que celebra el viernes en la capital tailandesa, el calendario de partidos internacionales femeninos para los a\u00f1os 2026-2029.<\/p>\n<p>Este calendario brindar\u00e1 m\u00e1s oportunidades de descanso y recuperaci\u00f3n para las jugadoras, con una reducci\u00f3n en el n\u00famero de ventanas internacionales de seis a cinco, lo que \u00abfacilitar\u00e1 menos interrupciones en las ligas nacionales y reducir\u00e1 los viajes\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEl calendario internacional femenino y las reformas a nuestras regulaciones son un paso importante en nuestro compromiso de llevar el f\u00fatbol femenino al siguiente nivel aumentando la competitividad en todo el mundo, especialmente en las regiones donde el f\u00fatbol femenino est\u00e1 menos desarrollado y hay menos protecci\u00f3n al bienestar de las jugadoras\u00bb, remarc\u00f3 el presidente de la FIFA, Gianni Infantino.<\/p>\n<p>Este viernes, el Congreso de la FIFA tiene previsto anunciar la sede del Mundial femenino de selecciones a la que optan las candidaturas de Brasil y, de manera conjunta, Alemania-B\u00e9lgica y Pa\u00edses Bajos, que se elegir\u00e1 por primera vez mediante votaci\u00f3n abierta.<\/p><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b><i>Con informaci\u00f3n de
