Ej\u00e9rcito de Liberaci\u00f3n Nacional (ELN) reiter\u00f3 su llamado a que ese grupo guerrillero abandone la pr\u00e1ctica del secuestro como forma de financiarse.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abLa delegaci\u00f3n del Gobierno siempre ha dejado en claro al ELN que el comercio con seres humanos no tiene ninguna clase de justificaci\u00f3n y su eliminaci\u00f3n no es objeto de ninguna transacci\u00f3n por parte del Estado colombiano\u00bb, dice un comunicado publicado por la delegaci\u00f3n gubernamental.<\/p>\n<p>En el texto se agrega que esperan que el ELN \u00abmantenga el compromiso adquirido ante la sociedad colombiana y la comunidad internacional y ponga fin a cualquier forma de secuestro\u00bb.<\/p>\n<div>Con este escrito, el equipo negociador gubernamental reaccion\u00f3 a la publicaci\u00f3n del Comando Central del ELN, que manifest\u00f3 la v\u00edspera que da por terminada su \u00aboferta\u00bb unilateral de poner fin a los secuestros econ\u00f3micos ante el aparente incumplimiento por parte del Gobierno del presidente Gustavo Petro de la creaci\u00f3n de un fondo multidonante.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre ese tema, la delegaci\u00f3n del Gobierno aclara que ambas partes acordaron la creaci\u00f3n de un fondo multidonante \u00abpara la financiaci\u00f3n de las actividades de paz contenidas en la agenda de los di\u00e1logos consignada en el Acuerdo de M\u00e9xico\u00bb, lo que no significa que haya sido concebido \u00abcomo contraprestaci\u00f3n a la suspensi\u00f3n del secuestro\u00bb.<b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><b>El secuestro como \u00abpunto de honor\u00bb<\/b><\/div>\n<div>\nAl respecto, la jefa de la parte negociadora del Gobierno, Vera Grabe, dijo a El Espectador que la guerrilla \u00abtiene que tomar una decisi\u00f3n frente al proceso de paz\u00bb y consider\u00f3 que \u00abest\u00e1 fuera de lugar\u00bb presionar con el tema del secuestro.<\/p>\n<p>Sobre la respuesta del Gobierno tras el anuncio del ELN, Grabe expres\u00f3 que el secuestro es un punto clave en el proceso de di\u00e1logo, tras la crisis generada en las conversaciones por la retenci\u00f3n del padre del futbolista Luis D\u00edaz en octubre pasado, que fue liberado tras pasar doce d\u00edas en cautiverio.<\/p>\n<p>Luego de superar ese trance, el ELN anunci\u00f3 en enero de este a\u00f1o que suspend\u00eda \u00abde manera unilateral y temporal\u00bb los secuestros con fines pecuniarios para \u00abfacilitar la pr\u00f3rroga al cese al fuego\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Por ahora, se espera que la pr\u00f3xima tanda de di\u00e1logos se celebre en Caracas entre el 20 y 25 de mayo, luego de tener una ronda extraordinaria en abril pasado para zanjar la crisis generada por los di\u00e1logos territoriales del Gobierno en el departamento de
