La complejidad de su caso requiri\u00f3 dos intervenciones en un lapso de 8 d\u00edas, y primero se le coloc\u00f3 una bomba card\u00edaca artificial para reforzar su coraz\u00f3n debilitado.<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Lisa Pisano, de 54 a\u00f1os y residente en Nueva Jersey, es la primera mujer en recibir un ri\u00f1\u00f3n de cerdo en Estados Unidos y tambi\u00e9n es la segunda persona viva a la que se ha sustituido su \u00f3rgano urinario defectuoso por uno de origen animal.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>El ri\u00f1\u00f3n se obtuvo de un cerdo modificado gen\u00e9ticamente, que sirvi\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n como donante del timo, un \u00f3rgano del sistema inmunitario que los m\u00e9dicos consideraron imprescindible trasplantar para evitar que el organismo humano rechace el nuevo \u00f3rgano.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u00abEstaba al final del camino\u00bb, coment\u00f3 Pisano a AP. \u00abAprovech\u00e9 la oportunidad.
