Mientras tanto, m\u00e1s de 30 Estados expresaron su inter\u00e9s en unirse al bloque de grandes econom\u00edas emergentes, de acuerdo con la alta funcionaria sudafricana.<\/p>\n<div>\n\u00abCon respecto a las nominaciones de los BRICS, cinco de los seis han confirmado. Se trata de Arabia Saudita, Emiratos \u00c1rabes Unidos, Etiop\u00eda, Ir\u00e1n y Egipto\u00bb, declar\u00f3 Pandor en una rueda de prensa el 31 de enero.<\/div>\n<div>\nSeis nuevos pa\u00edses fueron invitados a unirse a los BRICS durante la cumbre en Johannesburgo en agosto de 2023. Entre los invitados, \u00fanicamente Argentina renunci\u00f3 a la participaci\u00f3n despu\u00e9s de que el Gobierno del actual presidente Javier Milei llegara al poder, tras las elecciones presidenciales de 2023.<\/div>\n<div>\n<div>\u00abArgentina escribi\u00f3 para indicar que no dar\u00e1 curso a esta solicitud exitosa de la administraci\u00f3n anterior para convertirse en miembros plenos de BRICS y nosotros aceptamos su decisi\u00f3n\u00bb, se\u00f1al\u00f3 Pandor.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Adem\u00e1s, 34 pa\u00edses han manifestado su inter\u00e9s por integrarse en los BRICS, agreg\u00f3 la ministra de Sud\u00e1frica sin revelar sus nombres.
